FAQs
1. INVG AcuPen
Q1: How do I use the AcuPen?
A: Place the pen on the recommended acupressure points (see our quick-start guide included in the box) and gently press for 15–30 seconds. Move between points for a few minutes each day to relieve tension and promote balance.
Q2: Is it safe to use every day?
A: Yes! The AcuPen is designed for gentle, non-invasive pressure. Daily use is safe for most people. If you have a serious health condition or are pregnant, check with your healthcare provider first.
Q3: When will I notice results?
A: Many users feel calmer or less tense after the first session. Regular daily use often gives the best results within 1–2 weeks.
Q4: How do I clean and store it?
A: Simply wipe with a damp cloth or alcohol wipe after each use. Store in the included pouch to keep it clean and ready for next time.
Research
Acupressure involves applying targeted pressure to specific points on the body — a traditional technique that’s increasingly being studied in modern healthcare research. The INVG AcuPen makes it easy to stimulate these points precisely and gently at home.
Systematic reviews suggest potential short-term benefits for pain, nausea, and sleep support. Evidence is strongest for reducing menstrual, lower back and labour pain, as well as postoperative nausea and vomiting (Ernst, 2010: https://www.jpsmjournal.com/article/S0885-3924%2810%2900539-7/fulltext).
A meta-analysis also found acupressure significantly reduced labour pain compared with control (Karimi et al., 2021: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7968589/).
For musculoskeletal pain, such as osteoarthritis, results are more mixed: some improvements in physical function were seen, but pain and stiffness outcomes didn’t consistently outperform sham groups (Ang et al., 2021: https://www.mdpi.com/2076-3417/11/10/4457).
Reported side effects are usually mild, such as temporary redness or tenderness at the site of pressure. Serious complications are rare (Bäumler et al., 2021: https://bmjopen.bmj.com/content/11/9/e045961).
Important: Acupressure is a complementary wellbeing tool, not a medical treatment. The INVG AcuPen is designed to support comfort and self-care, and should not replace professional healthcare advice.
