INVG Scarab Tool

The INVG Scarab, Walnut and Stainless Steel Acupressure Tool

A tool for slow, intentional self-massage and daily ritual, sourced with care and developed further by Jude. Built to last.

Origin: Proudly made in China, home to centuries of craftsmanship and Chinese medicine tradition.

What it is

The Scarab is a handheld acupressure tool rooted in the principles of Chinese medicine. Its ergonomic walnut body sits naturally in your palm, while the 304 stainless steel ends let you apply both focused and broad pressure across the body, on the neck, jaw, shoulders, hands, feet, and along the channels mapped in Chinese medicine.

There is no single correct technique and no complicated routine. Just you, your body, and a tool that meets you where you are.

Why stainless steel

The Scarab now features 304 stainless steel tips, a hard-wearing grade chosen for hygiene and durability. The steel stays smooth against the skin, resists tarnish, and wipes clean in seconds. The weight feels solid and purposeful in the hand, made for daily use without fuss.

What's included

  • The INVG Scarab (walnut handle, 304 stainless steel ends)
  • Velvet travel pouch
  • Access to the full Scarab Ritual Guide, with step-by-step instructions for both sides of the tool, point locations, and care guidance

How to use it

The pincer side (two curved tips) is made for focused, precise pressure. Many people use it around the base of the skull, jaw, brow, and hands.

The broader end is made for wider areas and general pressure, across the shoulders, neck, and the soles of the feet.

There is no single correct technique. Explore what your body needs.

Care instructions

Wipe the stainless steel ends with a soft, dry cloth after each use. If you have used the tool with oil or balm, buff away any residue before storing. A damp cloth with mild soap is all you need for a deeper clean, then dry immediately.

Keep the walnut handle dry. Do not submerge or soak it. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Store in its pouch in a dry place.

Materials

Handle: Natural walnut wood, finished with an eco-friendly water-based clear varnish, safe for skin contact
Balls: 304 stainless steel
Pouch: Canvas
Origin: Proudly made in China

Safety & Usage Guidance

How to Use Safely

The INVG Scarab is designed for acupressure — applying focused, firm-but-gentle pressure to specific points on the face, scalp, hands, and body. A few things to keep in mind:

  • Start with light pressure and gradually increase to a comfortable level
  • Avoid pressing directly on the eyes, throat, or any open wounds
  • Do not use on inflamed, broken, or sunburned skin
  • If you feel sharp pain at any point, ease off — acupressure should feel like a deep, satisfying pressure, not pain

If you have a medical condition or are pregnant, consult a healthcare practitioner before use.

Research

(Educational information, not medical advice.)

Acupressure is a traditional practice from Chinese medicine — gentle, focused pressure applied to points mapped over centuries. Modern researchers continue to study it, but findings from clinical studies cannot simply be transferred to a home self-care tool, so we do not use research to promise results.

What we offer instead is a well-made tool, clear guidance and a tradition explained honestly. If you are new to acupressure, start gently and listen to your body. For medical concerns, always speak with a qualified professional.

Care Guide

After each use

Wipe the stainless steel ends with a soft, dry cloth. If you've used oil or balm, buff away any residue before storing so it doesn't transfer to the walnut handle.

Deeper clean

When needed, lightly dampen a cloth with warm water and a drop of mild soap. Wipe the steel ends, then dry immediately. Do not soak the tool or allow water to touch the walnut handle.

Caring for the walnut handle

Keep the walnut dry at all times. Do not submerge or soak it. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can dull the natural finish. If the wood feels dry over time, a small amount of food-safe mineral oil or beeswax can be buffed in lightly with a soft cloth.

Storage

Store in a dry place, ideally in its travel pouch, away from humidity and direct heat that could warp the wood.

Built to last

304 stainless steel is naturally resistant to rust, tarnish, and corrosion. With basic care, your Scarab will stay clean, hygienic, and ready for daily use for years to come.

Clever little tool and a pleasure to use

Clever little tool and a pleasure to use. I have issues with my neck and turning my head to the left since an RTA over 40 years ago. Since using this things have improved immensely. I can locate the sore spots and tight muscles with precision and work on them easily, plus the flat side is great for sweeping and massaging larger muscle groups. Highly recommend.

We’re so happy to hear how much you’re enjoying the INVG Scarab! Thank you for sharing your experience and recommending us. Wishing you lots of continued relief and wellness!

SS Scarab review

I generally don't leave reviews but recently purchased the SS Scarab and am really pleased. It is very well made and easy to use. I struggle with neck tension, tightness, and knots through my neck and scapula region. The Scarab makes it easy to get into places on my neck and base of my skull that have been troublesome and hard to reach otherwise. I'm able to relieve the tension quickly. I'm sold on it and will look at more of their products in the future.

We're so happy to hear that the Scarab has helped ease your neck tension! Thank you for sharing your experience with us and for your support. We can't wait to bring you even more fantastic products in the future!
