The INVG Story

“Pronounced ‘INVIG’.”

I’m incredibly proud and honoured to share with you INVG Wellness — a brand born from a deep personal history, strong moral values, and a passion for sharing the wisdom of Japanese and Chinese medicine, especially acupressure.

INVG exists to make these ancient practices feel human, accessible, and part of everyday life. Not something distant or clinical — but something you can return to, gently, in your own home.

My Journey with Acupuncture

My relationship with acupuncture began remarkably early.

From just six months old, I received weekly treatments throughout my childhood and into my late teens, thanks to my mum’s belief in the benefits of Chinese medicine. Although I don’t remember those earliest sessions, what stayed with me was a deep sense of balance and wellbeing as I grew up.

I was first introduced to a gentle, non-invasive style known as Toyohari, or Japanese acupuncture. This involved techniques using tools like Acupens and Gua Sha rather than needles. It wasn’t until I was around seven years old that I experienced traditional acupuncture needles — but those early, subtle methods continue to shape the way I practise and teach today.

Caring for My Father

Creating INVG Wellness was also shaped by a much more difficult chapter of my life.

My father battled cancer from my early childhood until I was sixteen. Caring for him during those years left a lasting imprint on me. Watching someone you love struggle with illness can make you feel helpless — but for me, it also ignited something powerful.

It created a deep desire to support others through their own health journeys, and a determination to learn how I could help people feel stronger, steadier, and more supported in their bodies.

The Life-Changing Journey

In honour of my father’s memory, my brother and I undertook an extraordinary challenge: rowing across the Atlantic Ocean.

For 55 days, we rowed two hours on and two hours off. Out there, in the stillness of the open ocean, something became very clear to me. Acupuncture was not just an interest or a career path — it was part of who I was. It felt embedded in me.

That journey gave me clarity and solidified my commitment to a life devoted to wellbeing.

From Study to Sharing

When I returned, I enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree in Acupuncture in West London. For three and a half years, I immersed myself in the study of this ancient medicine, deepening both my clinical understanding and my respect for its roots.

After graduating, my work expanded beyond the clinic. I began sharing simple wellness and acupressure techniques online, hoping to reach people who might never otherwise encounter this medicine.

The response was overwhelming. Millions of people resonated with how approachable it felt.

To support that growing community, I began developing high-quality acupressure tools to accompany the techniques I shared — tools designed to help you build simple, grounding rituals at home.

INVG Wellness Is Born

INVG comes from the word invigorate — a reflection of our intention to support energy, awareness, and a sense of wellbeing in everyday life.

INVG Wellness is run by a small, dedicated team: myself and my partner, Arwen. Every tool we offer is rooted in the traditions of Japanese and Chinese medicine and shaped by real clinical experience.

We are deeply grateful for your support in our first year and beyond. This community — INVG Life — means everything to us.
