THE INVG SCARAB
Ritual Guide
A practitioner-led guide to exploring tension and restoring balance.
The INVG Scarab is a handheld acupressure tool rooted in the principles of Chinese medicine. Its ergonomic walnut body fits naturally in your palm, while solid brass details allow you to apply both focused and broad pressure across the body.
Use it on the neck, jaw, shoulders, hands, feet, and along the body's acupressure channels. There is no single correct technique — the Scarab is designed to let you explore what your body needs.
Care & Use Notice
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
CARING FOR YOUR SCARAB
The INVG Scarab is crafted from solid walnut and solid brass. Like all natural brass, it will develop a patina over time — this tarnishing and oxidisation is completely normal and a sign of genuine, high-quality material.
To protect both your skin and your tool, please follow these simple care steps:
Do not use on oily skin or over any makeup, oils, or skincare products.
Brass reacts with oils and certain products, which can cause temporary dark marks on the skin. Always use the Scarab on clean, dry skin.
Clean between every use.
Wipe down the brass tips with an alcohol swab or wash with warm soapy water after each session. This removes any residue and prevents tarnish build-up.
Keep the wood dry.
Avoid submerging or soaking the walnut body. A quick wipe with a damp cloth is all it needs — never leave it wet.
With regular care, your Scarab will stay beautiful and perform exactly as intended.
THE PINCERS
The two curved brass tips allow you to target specific acupressure points or areas of tension. Use this side when you want to apply precise, focused pressure to a small area — ideal for the base of the skull, jaw, and brow.
THE CLUSTER
The rounded brass ball cluster is designed for broader coverage across larger muscle groups. Use this side to slowly roll over muscle fibres, encouraging circulation and release. Ideal for the upper back and trapezius.
THE RITUALS
Three places the body holds the most tension.
Using the pincer side, locate the hollow at the base of the skull on either side of the neck. Apply steady pressure and massage in small circles. Continue for 60 seconds on each side, breathing slowly throughout.
Place the pincers along the jaw muscle and work in gentle circular motions. Most people carry far more tension here than they realise. Massage for 60 seconds each side.
Switch to the cluster side. Place the brass balls on the upper trapezius — the thick muscle running between your neck and shoulders — and slowly glide across the muscle fibres with steady, even pressure.
