We chose high-grade silicone for the INVG Facial Cups because safety comes first. Silicone offers controlled, flexible suction that naturally releases when pressure builds — acting as a built-in safety limit. Glass cups are rigid, can chip or crack, and transmit force directly to the skin with no give. As a degree-trained acupuncturist, I designed these cups for unsupervised home use, which means the material has to be forgiving. Silicone is that material.
